Nebraska Wide Receiver Isaiah Neyor Pre-Indiana Press Conference
On the importance of being in close games
“Just being able to finish. Sometimes it may not always be pretty but the goal is to go out there and finish games and do what we have to do. I’m looking forward to improving but we need to finish really strong.”
On how the Rutgers game impacted the approach in the bye week
“Just being able to stay calm and fix the little things. Obviously offensively, we want to play better than we did but being able to get that win was great. Coming out of that game we took a look at ourselves to see what we wanted to improve on. The remaining six games that we have left hopefully we can just improve off of that. Put more points on the board, be more explosive, be consistent.”
On advice for playing in tough road games
“Fall back to your training. It’s a hostile environment when the crowd is loud. Fall back to your training. Don’t do anything that you haven’t practiced. Don’t go out there trying new things. Just do what you have been doing. Don’t make anything up. And enjoy the moments. You only get so many opportunities so why not enjoy it and have fun. These are moments that you are going to remember for the rest of your lives so go out there and make the most of it and enjoy it.”
