Nebraska Tight End Thomas Fidone Pre-Michigan State Press Conference

On playing meaningful games in the month of November
“It’s crazy. I mean we’ve put in a ton of work.Team, coaches everybody to get to the point we are now. I think it is a testament to playing through adversity and everybody’s injuries and everything that has happened. Having the what’s next mentality and just moving forward.”

On the part of his game he has grown the most in
“I think obviously better at everything. The game has slowed down. From not playing for really two years to kind of just jumping in and playing. The game definitely slowed down. I have gotten better at my run-blocking and my footwork and just kind of everything there. Not getting beat in the run-game. I have just improved everything a little bit.”

On Heinrich Haarberg
“He’s a dog. Anyone can see that. He’s been taking hit after hit like you said. I have always known he’s a dog and everyone is just seeing it now. He is putting himself in a place where people are seeing how hard he works and how tough he is. People are noticing that. Obviously it isn’t fun as a quarterback getting smoked every play but that is the type of offense we run and type of player he is. He is just showing how tough he is. Everyone gets to see that now.”
