On the comparison between this fall camp and previous fall camps:

“I would say the intensity of practice. Just how we practice and how hard we go in practice is definitely different. There’s a different focus on the details and the little details. Just the way we practice is helping us get ready for the games and prepare our minds mentally. We’re developing that mindset. We have to be on that toughness scale and we have to go out there and give it to them all four quarters.”

On how ready the team is for Minnesota:

“I think this team is ready for anything. We still have five days left to prepare as hard as we can and we’re going to go out there and play for each other. “

On the workload of the quarterback position:

“Especially when you talk about getting into a new system you have to get comfortable with the offense, putting that extra time in and learning everyone on the team. It’s hard to lead when you don’t know your guys. You really have to get to know everyone. That goes into extra work and outside of that on the physical part, you just have to show everyone that you are tough. You have to show them you won’t quit. Being a new quarterback on a new team that you transferred to, you just have to show more about yourself that will gain that faith from your peers.”

On the situational practices and how that has improved the team:

“I think it’s really important. You can’t go into a game and not be prepared for different situations. All the situation work that we’ve been doing has been very helpful and we’ve come a long way. We’ve been learning and getting better at it everyday.”
