Nebraska Quarterback Dylan Raiola Pre-UCLA Press Conference
On balancing fan goals and personal goals
“In practice, I heard someone say we haven’t been to a bowl game in eight years. I think getting the fans guaranteed one more game, possibly more, being in the playoffs would mean a lot to this fanbase. They’ve been through a lot and been very loyal to everybody. It would mean a lot to get to a bowl game. I think just the focus of trying to win this week and this week only, and get six wins.”
On his improvements
“I think seeing the field. Defensive coverage has changed post and pre-snap, and just the communication between our players and coaches. There’s been a lot of adjustments. There’s been a lot of things moving since game one and I’m really excited about where we are at now.”
On Thomas Fidone getting more involved in the passing game
“I think Thomas (Fidone) has always been for us. There’s always been an emphasis on getting him the ball. See when he gets the ball in his hands, he goes and makes plays. I’m proud of Thomas, he’s been through a lot in his college career with his ACL and a lot of ups and downs for him. He’s just stayed the course and he is grinding. Trying to see the future is later and it’s paid off.”
