Nebraska Quarterback Dylan Raiola Pre-Rutgers Press Conference
On what stands out about the Rutgers defense
“I think they’re an experienced group. They play really hard and do a lot of things right. They’re not going to make too many mistakes. It’ll be a good test for us to see where we’re at.”
On what he enjoyed about playing on the road
“I think it’s awesome. You go to all these Big Ten schools that we will, and you kind of take in what each school offers. I think that’s the beauty of the Big Ten, there’s all kinds of different cities and different things that make that place special. I thought it was a great atmosphere, but there’s nothing like being at home. We’re happy to be back home this week and be in front of our fans.”
On the value of having veteran players on the o-line and at receiver
“They make plays and they take a lot off of my plate. I couldn’t be more grateful. I just learn so much from them every day. The receivers, to have the older guys that we have, and we have a lot of younger guys making plays. I think you have a group of older guys making plays and younger guys. Things can get scary when you put it all together.”
On Jacory Barney Jr.
“It’s something special. That guy is probably one of my best friends on the team and my roommate in the dorms. We’ve done everything together since we’ve been here, so to see his work pay off and see how much fun he has doing it, I couldn’t be more proud of him and I know that he’s just scratched the surface.”
