Nebraska Quarterback Dylan Raiola Pre-Purdue Press Conference
On his feeling after Friday’s game
“I think we handled it very well. I think the coaches gave us the right tools to handle the defense. We pretty much saw everything they had coming at us. I think that just goes back to Coach (Satterfield) preparing us and having the right game plan in place for us to be successful.”
On his first away game
“Nothing changes for us other than we will be wearing white jerseys instead of red. We will try to go out there and play our best football. It will just be in a different stadium. I think everyone is excited to have a change of scenery and be in a different state and stadium. All the guys are excited and we all get to be together on the road, which makes it even better.”
On taking more hits and how his training prepares him for four games in a row
“We had another day to recover, so we use that as a benefit. You prepare. That’s what you train all offseason for… to get hit in the big games. My training all year round I think helps us. I call it being bulletproof. You try to be able to play as long as you can at the best level you can. That’s the intent behind all that training that you do and then all the extra stuff. The stretching, the different movements that I do. I think our linemen protected well with this defense they played. It allows them to get some pressure and that’s football and you have to get in there and make throws.”
