On the bye week
“We just get back to who we are. Don’t lose sight of the kind of team we are. Competitors, hard-nosed players that love the game and love playing for each other. Last week was a lot of team, compete and good on good. I think it was the best thing for us.”

On being a leader in the bye week
“I knew we had a special team when right after the game we came back into the locker room and where it’s normally pointing fingers and he did this, you did that. We just kind of latched on and came together. From my point of view, it’s just making sure that guys aren’t making excuses for themselves and making sure that it’s our responsibility. No one is going to come hand us anything. We wouldn’t want it any other way.”

On evaluating red zone efficiency
“If we’re being honest, it’s been poor. I think if we punch those in for six points, the game will turn, and momentum and things will shift. That’s an emphasis every single week. There’s not a single week you don’t want to score in the red zone. There’s money down there, and you’ve got to go get it. That’s important.”
