Nebraska Quarterback Dylan Raiola Pre-Indiana Press Conference

On how he handled the bye week
“I grinded early during the week. Then I took a couple days to enjoy, I got to go hang out with my mom a little bit. It was good. I got to spend a lot of time with her. When you come back from a little break you get a new boost of energy and you can get ready to go again.”

On getting the motivation to prepare at early times
“I think it’s the urgency to win. We train and prepare so hard early in the week to get to the game to where we can let it fly and cut it loose. I think you have to earn that right during the week. I think the only way is you have to feel a certain way. You have to be tired. You can’t go home and have so much energy to play video games. You should exalt all your energy and emotion to that game and that’s what I think our guys have done this week. Even last week starting to prepare a little bit. Winning is fun and doing the stuff to win is hard but it’s all worth it in the end.”

On the stage of this week’s game
“I don’t think we could be more excited. We love being the underdog. A lot of people view Nebraska as an underdog and we like it that way. Going into their stadium and their place it will be a fun environment and we look forward to putting up our best fight and go win the game.”
