Nebraska Quarterback Dylan Raiola Pre-Illinois Press Conference

On this week’s challenge with Illinois’ pass coverage
“We’ve got to make sure our guys are in the right spots and that my eyes are in the right spot. It’s just going to come down to who executes better this week and who is more physical. It’s pretty simple, and we’re just going to attack.”

On the 400th sellout, and his first Husker game
“It never gets old, walking into that stadium when it’s sold out. I know we’re going to need them extra this game, so I know they’ll show out. I don’t remember who they played, but I was a little baby, and I just remember after the game rolling around in the end zone.”

On reflecting on improvements and preparing for the next game
“With a short week, I wanted to move on from it pretty quick. I think that it was important that I just woke up and watched the tape and graded myself and just moved on from it. You’ve got a Friday game, and it’s a great opponent that you’re going to play, so you want to make sure that you can make it as close to a normal week as you can, just with one less day of preparation, but we’ll be ready, regardless.”

On getting ready to play a Big Ten team
“It’s the same thing, nothing really changes for our program based on who we play. If we’re playing a team in the NFL to a team in college, it’s the same process. Coach (Matt) Rhule has done a great job of making us understand that, and everyone’s bought into it, and we’re just going to attack it as we usually would.”
