Nebraska Offensive Lineman Teddy Prochazka Pre-Wisconsin Press Conference

On Coach Rhule’s comment about the Maryland game being the best performance for the offense thus far
“Yeah, I thought we did a good job of finishing on our guy. We got challenged last week not to be outworked and we came into this week with that mindset. ‘Like no one is going to out work us’ and that started in practice, preparation and we brought that to the game. I thought we did a good job with that.”

On his new spot and how he feels after a couple of games
“Yeah, in the first game I was just shaking off some rust from that tackle position, but I feel comfortable now and I’m seeing the defense a lot more clearly. Making communication or making calls that we need to make. Each game you gotta get better and better, so there’s always something to improve on.”

On the reliability with Ben Scott as the command center with the O-line
“He’s done a really good job on coming in here and getting in with us, hanging out with us and that’s something Coach Raiola (Donovan) always preaches. Staying together and when you have a center that has a personality that he has it just helps with the calls that he’s making on the field a lot. He’s done a good job at taking that center leadership role.”

On the resources for players with health, avoiding injury and what he’s seen from that area
“Well they’ve done a good job at bringing the right guys in here. They’ve done a really good job of watching out for signs of potential risk or something like that. I was coming back from a  shoulder injury, so there were certain things that I couldn’t do. I can just come over here and we have a super fun thing called the ‘pit.’ Where if you’re an injured guy you can go over there and you can keep working out. You’re not just sitting on the side, but you’re working out while you’re down or out. With this new building, the recovery amenities there are insane. Just being able to build a relationship with those guys and talking to them, asking them ‘what can I do’ to benefit myself or prevent injury. They will walk you through it and teach you those things, and coach you up on it. It’s been really good.”
