On adjusting to joining the team
“It’s been flying by. I got here in February, and now we’re going into week three. In the blink of an eye, it’s going by fast. It’s been awesome. I’ve really appreciated each and every opportunity and every snap that I’ve gotten. I haven’t looked back with it.”

On how good the team can be
“I think they can be great. I think we can be. I think we need to keep doing our fundamentals and our preparation each and every week. Just believing in the technique that’s being taught and building off of it. Myself, I didn’t feel like I had played a great game. I just had to keep doing what I have to do, trust the process, and believe in that technique. As a group, I felt like we took another step of communication and playing five as one.”

On adjusting to Coach Raiola’s teaching
“He teaches it the right way, that’s how offensive line should be played. It’s year five for me, it’s just kind of trusting a new thing and believing in what he’s teaching me. I just have to knock off some rust and some old habits. Each and every day those fundamentals, those preparations, those rep counts, really trusting and believing in it.”
