On everyone getting reps on Saturday
“It felt great. Those guys work their tails off just like everyone else so when we can go out and do our job like that and give them the opportunity to play, it's special.”

On the competition at left tackle
“We’re always there for each other; it’s iron sharpens iron with us. Just competing every day and trying to get the best out of each other and help each other out when we’re watching film or out doing indy. We always want the best out of each other, so just daily competition.”

On how he’s improved since last season
“I was prepared last year to step in and do it and obviously I was younger and I’m more physically mature now, but just through my preparation last year and being able to fall back on the older guys I feel like I was ready to step in and do that. Just going into this year as another year of development and studying the game, getting better at technique, and just building a bond with the guys on the o-line. I just feel like another year under my belt has just helped me a lot.”
