Nebraska Offensive Lineman Ethan Piper Pre-Michigan Press Conference

On the offense’s play overall
“Oh I love it. We’re doing a whole bunch of runs, a lot of guard pulls. Coach (Marcus) Satterfield is using the tools on our offense very well right now. I just think if we keep going and figure out the offense, we will be a better team.”

On viral pancake video from last week’s game
“I had a couple of old friends and people I haven’t talked to in a couple years send it to me. It was a good block. That is the standard for us in the offensive line room. That is the amount of effort and violence we need to play with every game.”

On Michigan’s defense
“They’re a very solid front. Defensive front. Defensive guys. Any time you can play multiple fronts and be very sound with it, those are elite guys out there. That’s why they’re ranked one of the best defenses in the nation. I have a lot of respect for them. We’ll watch a lot of film and see what we can do. That’s what we’re trying to do right now.”

On Heinrich Haarberg
“He’s a guy. You can just feel it when he goes up there. He’s confident. He knows and he’s been preparing for this moment for the last three years here. I think he seized the moment and he’s running with it. For me, as an offensive lineman, I’m just looking for confidence. If you can tell me the next play confidently, your snap count is confident and you can get the flow of the game on the offense. I’m not a quarterback coach but I think he does a great job.”
