Nebraska Offensive Coordinator Marcus Satterfield Pre-Indiana Press Conference
On the running back rotation
“Right now they all three have traits that are helping us on offense, so until one separates themselves. I don’t mean that as they’re playing bad. They are all playing at the same level. We will use all these guys as much as possible while moving the ball forward.”
On bye week performance and reflection of the first half of the season
“We have to do better on third downs. If we can stay on schedule we’re good. Certain downs and distances we have to throw and catch, we aren’t as good as we need to be. We need to accomplish our goals for the rest of the season.
On blocking penalties and performance
“Those were penalities. You can’t block from the back and you can’t hold. It’s been a priority in the open week. Even through today’s practice, it was a bloody Tuesday. We went out there and we blocked guys on the perimeter and improved. We’ll continue to do that every day and constantly work on that. We must be able to utilize the perimeter with our speed and size wideout.”
