Nebraska Linebacker John Bullock Pre-Wisconsin Press Conference

On emotions for senior day
“I’m sure I’ll be a little teary, just knowing the amount I’ve given to this university and this state, just to this football team. Thinking back to it and how far I’ve come. It’ll definitely be very emotional for me.”

On what it would mean to get the sixth win and become bowl-eligible
“It would mean the world to this program. It will take it off on the right trajectory. Going forward just knowing that we can win, and that’s kind of how us seniors wanted to lead this place. So, we’ll give it our all to get that sixth win. That’s our main goal right now is just to win. Whatever we have to do to get there, that's what I plan on doing, just going out there and trying to get the win for us no matter what I have to do to change the game. I just have to control myself. I can’t control anybody else, so I’m going to go out there and do my part and try to make as many plays as I can and try to make a game-changing play.”

On the Wisconsin rivalry being another hurdle
“For sure. We don’t like them, they don’t like us. That’s just how it is. This game and the next game always means a lot more to this place than most other games do. It doesn’t matter who it’s against. We are just trying to get that win. Just trying to get a win. We’re just trying to win out and get on the right path for next year, so definitely against a team like Wisconsin will be huge for us.”
