Nebraska Linebacker John Bullock Pre-Michigan State Press Conference

On the last game at Michigan State
“Obviously that game didn’t turn out how we wanted it, didn’t execute at the end to get it done but we’re ready to go for this weekend to get back at them and get a win.”

On Sunday film
“We always try to go out there and do the best we can to not have that happen but that is not always the case. You can make a good play but there’s always something on the other side that you have to look at and fix and be like ‘Hey if you don’t fix this, they’re going to hit you with this next week.’ There’s always something to fix every play. I think we have guys flying around to the ball that really help not allow that a lot of the time but that’s something we have to take in on Sunday and be like hey we gotta fix this. It’s more focusing on what we need to fix than what we did well.

On Coach Rob Dvoracek
“He’s helped me a lot. I think he coaches me in a way that I can relate to and be able to react the way I need to to play on the field so he’s helping the guys out a lot. I know he’s early in this. He’s young to be doing this too so we’re relating to him and he’s relating to us and he’s doing a great job right now just helping us out.”

On the increase in reps this season
“It didn’t feel good in the moment but I shook it off, got ready to go again but Coach didn’t put me back in because there was two minutes left but the body is feeling great, banged up a little bit just as everybody is but no injuries so far which I’m happy about, knock on wood, but feeling good.”
