Nebraska Linebacker Jimari Butler Pre-Wisconsin Press Conference

On stopping an opponent when they have good field position
“We look at it now like ‘that’s what we do.’ It comes from confidence throughout the week and in practice so opportunities come up and we look at it as a challenge. I think that’s been the biggest shift.”

On his journey this year
“It’s the best decision I ever made, honestly. With Coach Rhule, Coach T-Knight (Terrance Knighton), Coach Rob (Dvoracek), they’ve been developing me into the player that I want to be and I see that. I’ll be watching old film on myself and then I’ll watch it now and it’s a totally different person.”

On defending Braelon Allen and the Wisconsin rushing attack
“They’re a good team, they’re good up front and he’s a big back. It’s really just hitting them. Getting to them and hitting them. They preach dominant contact. If he can sustain it for four quarters, then kudos to him.”

On experiencing Camp Randall at night
“It’ll be my first time playing there. Really, just the crowd, trying to stay locked in during those moments. It’s hard when the crowd gets into it. We practiced with the crowd noise today. Staying locked in, that’s the big emphasis this week.”
