Nebraska Defensive Lineman Jimari Butler Pre-Colorado Press Conference
On preparing for Colorado
“They have great receivers, a great o-line, and a lot of athleticism. We are going to stick to the game plan. Whatever Coach (Tony) White calls, we are going to run it. Our profession is to play Blackshirt football the way we know we can play it.”
On how he prepares for Shedeur Sanders
“He’s one of the best quarterbacks in the nation. We are going to try and slow him down. We are going to capitalize on the opportunity when it comes. If it’s like a true drop back or true passer, just try to capitalize on those opportunities.”
On takeaways from UTEP
“It was really through practice. They gave us tempo throughout practice. Tempo is kind of hard when you have to get your cues, see the calls and everything. Practicing the whole week, the scouting guys got us ready for that. They would see if you could hurry up even if it was an incomplete pass, they were still going to hurry up. I think last week helped us a lot to get ready for the tempo.”
