On the shutout
“It means a lot. Personally, I haven’t been a part of a shutout before. To be a part of that was amazing, especially being able to see the young guys get put into the game and be able to dominate the way that they did. It was a great feeling.”

On Kade Pietrzak’s safety
“That’s probably one of the highlights of my season. We’ve been working with Kade all season. In the defensive line room, we have what we call the leash. Kade only had one move to use. I told TB (Terry Bradden) to take him off the leash and then he went out there and made plays. I was really excited for him. That’s a guy who, especially long after I’m gone, is going to be a great factor for this team.”
