Nebraska Defensive Lineman Cameron Lenhardt Pre-Northern Illinois Press Conference

On his playing style:

“I would say I’m pretty physical at the point of attack, being able to get off blocks and being able to find the ball. Just being able to make those big plays.”

On his ability to play as a freshman:

“It just stems from everything we’ve been doing during drills, to summer conditioning and making the top ten every week. I just build off of that and build that trust over time.”

On Rhule’s process with building the program:

“I think it’s just about trusting it and trusting the coaches, as well as each other. We have a tough group of people in my class that are in there working everyday. I believe 100 percent in my heart that if we continue to trust this process it’s going to happen.”

On Nebraska leading the nation in sacks:

“I don’t think it means anything at all really. It’s still early and we have to keep coming after the quarterback every week. We have to keep going hard in practice and during one-on-ones, pass rush drills, we have to keep improving.”
