Nebraska Defensive Back Omar Brown Pre-Michigan Press Conference

On the upcoming game against Michigan
“Obviously in the run game. They have a good running back. Just coming down and playing hard. Coach (Matt Rhule) emphasized that there’s going to be a fight, a boxing fight, right here in the ring and it’s going to be similar to Minnesota physical wise. It’s just going to be a physical game. It’s going to be a more physical game.”

On Tommi Hill
“Last week in practice. I don’t get to go against him a lot but corners do because he’s more an outside receiver. I did get to go against him last week and it was fun. Tommi I give him props, he’s probably the fastest player on the team.”

On finishing plays
“I mean I think we do that everyday. We try to emphasize it and get better everyday. We’re still working on it obviously and there’s improvements that could be made. We take that seriously as a whole DB group, but specifically the safeties because we have to come down. Coach (Tony) White emphasizes it a lot, like every practice. It’s hit them. Finish the play, get the ball, rip out the ball and when we do that it becomes a habit.”

On the defensive line’s play
“I’ve said this before but I think our D-line has been playing great to be honest. Everyone can be doing great things and getting better and better. Even the young guys, they know what they’re doing. They come in and they do their job. It’s really those situations where you trust who’s coming in and making the play. The young guys that will come in because of what they can do in the off season and once you see them do it you can trust them.”
