“They have a good quarterback. I feel like the offense runs through him. They have some talented receivers. They have some pretty good backs as well.”

“I felt like guys were out there playing hard. Everyone was doing their job collectively. As you watch the tape, you see guys flying around, you see guys making plays, having fun with one another. We just came up short. But, I feel like that’s a good thing because you see a lot of people improving. We can’t do anything but look forward to the next game.”

On the loss against UCLA last season
“It’s an extreme motivator. You have that little itch. In the back of your head you’re waiting on that game because obviously they came into our house and we ended up losing. This is a game we’ve been waiting for and we’re ready to go out there and go play.”
