On emotions of senior day
“Yeah definitely. Obviously it’s a new experience for me, but definitely it’s going to be a thing to do to have to check your emotions. Not trying to get too emotional, too sad, too anything like that and just staying in the moment, enjoying the game, and being present.”

On his favorite moments
“I don’t know if I could pinpoint a specific moment, but I would probably just say the time with my teammates and getting to know my teammates. I feel like I’ve really built some life long connections here, so I’m super thankful for that. I just think that my time with my team and my time with the DBs. Whether it’s us watching film at my house, or us going out to eat our Thursday night dinners and stuff like that. Those are probably my favorite moments.

On reflecting playing Iowa last year
“Eariler today I was talking with Marsh (Andrew Marshall) and I was like man we’re really in Nebraska. As a kid from LA you wouldn’t think that’s where you would end up, but everybody’s journey is different and life takes you wherever and I think being here has been a great thing for me. Last year when I was at Iowa I was really like this is crazy because I never even expected to be at this stadium, but it was really cool and a really cool experience.”
