Purdue Offensive Lineman

On not being able to capitalize on good field position
“It’s definitely frustrating – the defense worked their ass off getting to a position and then for us to not be able to do what we need to do. We shoot ourselves in the foot, not taking advantage of the situation was really frustrating for us on the offense. We know we have to get better.”

On if he thinks the offense isn’t holding their end up
“I think it's tough because nobody ever really wants to point the finger like, this is offense, this is defense, any game no matter what. As an offense, you're looking at it like, this is us. The defense is doing what they're supposed to do and sometimes we put them in tough spots. When we get in a good spot like we have to go to capitalize and we kind of hurt ourselves. It’s frustrating.”

On what Coach Walters said in the locker room
“We just have to kind of get over what we're doing right now. At a certain point, enough has got to be enough and we’ve got to move on. Not move on but kind of address what we're doing. Get better and keep working.”
