Mobile Ticketing Information

Nebraska's mobile app includes the addition of built-in mobile ticketing. Fans now have access to tickets and parking via their mobile device.

As part of our ongoing effort to enhance our fan experience and improve safety at all of our venues, we are excited to deliver a convenient way for fans to access tickets and parking passes for every Husker home event directly on their smartphone. 

The Nebraska Huskers mobile app will be the easiest and most convenient way for fans to access their Husker ticket account. To save time at the venue, fans are encouraged to save tickets and parking to their Apple Wallet or Google Pay apps prior to arrival on game day. 

While the Nebraska Huskers app is the easiest way for a fan to access their tickets and parking, fans can also visit huskers.com/myaccount on their mobile browser and log in with their email or Husker tickets account number and password.  At that point fans will be able to manage their online account from their smartphone.

The Nebraska Huskers App is available in both the App Store and Google Play Store. New users can search Official Nebraska Huskers in the App Store or Google Play Store, or simply visit https://huskers.com/mobile-app on their mobile device and the link will automatically direct fans to the proper download location depending on their phone.

Mobile Ticketing

Mobile tickets are specifically designed for smartphones and sent either by a text message or email directly to you as a link that you can download to your Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.

  1. Order game tickets online
  2. Choose MOBILE as your preferred delivery method
  3. Get your tickets! There are two easy ways to do this:
    1. Log in to your account to manage your tickets moving forward. You can access your tickets at any time by logging in. OR
    2. You will receive either a text message or an email with a link to access your ticket(s) and download your ticket(s) to your mobile wallet.
  4. Tap on the link to Download Tickets to Wallet to save your ticket(s) to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.
  5. Use your smartphone as your ticket! Nebraska scans all tickets at each facility.

  • Avoid waiting in “Will Call” lines to pick up your tickets.
  • Prevent your tickets from getting lost in the mail.
  • No need to print your tickets! Simply present your smartphone with tickets at the gate.
  • Stay safe with contactless interaction when presenting your ticket upon entry.

Entering the venue is now easier than ever with contactless mobile tickets. Simply “Tap & Go” to enter games with your smartphone.

  1. ADD to your mobile wallet:
    Add your mobile ticket to your Apple Wallet or Google Wallet by tapping the link you received via email or text message. Next, tap on G PAY - SAVE TO PHONE or ADD TO APPLE WALLET. Do this as soon as possible to receive important game updates like changes to start time or venue.
  2. ACCESS your ticket:
    As you approach the entrance, open your Apple or Google wallet and select the ticket.
    Some iPhones will notify you to access your ticket. In that case, tap on the notification to pull up your ticket.
  3. PRESENT and go
    At the gate, present your ticket to the attendant by holding your smartphone close to the scanner. If you have multiple tickets for the event, swipe left or right to view each ticket.

iOS Devices (iPhone)

  1. You’ll receive an email and/or a text message. Using your smartphone, open the email and tap on the link to access the tickets.
  2. On the ticket access page, tap the ADD TO APPLE WALLET link to open Apple Wallet and tap NEXT in the upper right-hand corner.
  3. Choose AUTOMATICALLY SELECT and then DONE in the upper right-hand corner to add the ticket(s) to your wallet.
  4. Ready To Scan! You’ll see the ticket(s) when you open your wallet. After a ticket has been added to your wallet, it will be available on your Apple watch (must be iCloud connected to your iPhone).

Android Devices

  1. You’ll receive an email and/or a text message. Using your smartphone, open the email and tap on the link to access the tickets.
  2. On the ticket access page, tap the Add to Google Wallet link to open Google Wallet app and tap the ADD button to add the ticket(s) to Google Wallet. NOTE: If you don’t have the Google Wallet App installed on your smartphone, you’ll be prompted to install it when attempting to save your ticket(s) to Google Wallet.
  3. You’ll see the ticket(s) when you tap the VIEW IN WALLET button.
  4. Ready To Scan! 

 

 

INFORMATION

Each mobile ticket should be treated like any other valid ticket. Mobile tickets are individually scanned allowing one scan per entry. Any attempts to duplicate, alter, or sell copies of the mobile tickets may result in being refused admission to the event. This provides heightened security by identifying counterfeit and stolen tickets.

 

I HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY CONTACTLESS MOBILE TICKETS

Your tickets should also be delivered via a link in an email. If your email has not arrived:

  1. Make sure you have used the correct email address.
  2. Check your junk mail folder.
  3. Make sure that your spam guard and junk mail settings allow you to receive emails with attachments.
  4. Be sure to add our email address, [Insert email address], to your list of trusted email addresses. Please set your email to accept attachments.
  5. Please allow at least one hour for your emails to arrive.

Alternatively, your tickets also show up in your account within a few minutes. Log into your account, access your tickets there, and add them into your mobile wallet.

ALL-IN-1 is a smart ticket that will simplify your digital wallet. Add each ALL-IN-1 ticket once per seat and it will automatically update to the next event. The ALL-IN-1 pass consolidates your entire sports season, series of performances, or set of shows into a single pass.

 

ALL-IN-1 is for plan, series, and season tickets.

 

How do you get started? It’s easy!

1. Login to My Account.
2. Look for tickets with the ALL-IN-1 mark.
3. Click the Add to Wallet button and you’re done! Your ALL-IN-1 pass will rotate
and automatically update before the next event.

If you have an iPhone or an Apple Watch: use the Apple Wallet app, which comes pre-installed and works with iPhone or Apple Watch devices running iOS 6 or later.

 

If you have a smartphone running an Android operating system: use the Google Wallet app, which you can download from Google Play Store.

Once you have saved your mobile tickets to your Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, open your app and tap on the ticket so it displays on your smartphone. And then, [if using Barcode] Hold your smartphone up to the scanner so the barcode is visible, and scan the barcode. [if using Contactless/NFC] Hold the smartphone so that the back is close to the scanner like you are tapping your phone to the scanner.

If you have an account and your smartphone, not to worry. Sign in to your account, navigate to My Tickets choose the event, and download your mobile tickets from there.

If you have an account and your smartphone, no worries. Log in to your account, navigate to “My Tickets,” choose the event, and download your ticket/pass from there.

My Account Information

Already have an account with us? Great. Here’s how you access your account online.

  1. Locate your account number and PIN. [You should find this in a recent mailer] If you don’t have these, please contact us.
  2. Go to My Account and click "Activate Account".
  3. Enter your account number and PIN, when prompted, enter your email address and create a password. Your account is now activated online!

Sign in to your account from your smartphone and download tickets to your smartphone’s wallet for safekeeping, easy retrieval, and quick entry at the event!

  1. Log in to your account from your smartphone
  2. Go to the event for the tickets you want to download
  3. Tap on the button: “Add to Apple Wallet” or “Save to G Pay”
  4. Tap ADD when presented with your ticket, or ADD ALL, if you are adding multiple tickets from one event
  5. Go to your Wallet and your ticket should be there!

SENDING TICKETS

Sending tickets is easy.

  1. Log in to your account from your smartphone
  2. On the first page, scroll down to the bottom to find the TRANSFER button
  3. Select the events and tickets you want to transfer, then fill in the mobile phone number of the recipient. You can fill in their name, for easy reference, but this is optional. Also, if you are using the app, you can access the contacts saved on your phone.
  4. Tap CONFIRM and your tickets will be sent via text message!

 

You can transfer multiple tickets from multiple events, transfer to multiple people, all with the same easy process.

 


 

ACCEPTING TICKETS

When someone sends a ticket transfer, you’ll receive a text message letting you know you have a pending transfer.


If you already have an account, accept the transfer and you will be prompted to log in to retrieve the tickets.

 

  1. Tap on the link from your text message
  2. Tap ACCEPT TRANSFERnote that there is an expiration date to the transfer
  3. Log in to your account
  4. And you are done! Your new tickets are listed in your account and can be downloaded to your mobile wallet

 

If you do not have an account, you will be prompted to create one in order to complete the transfer and access your tickets.

If you purchased new tickets with a payment/bill plan, and the credit card used with the initial purchase is no longer valid (lost/stolen/expired), you can access your active payment schedules to update your credit card information.

 

  1. Log in to your account
  2. Go to View Account & Settings and then My Tickets in the site navigation and tap on Payment Schedules
  3. Locate the payment schedule you wish to update
  4. Select Update expiration date if you simply need to edit the existing credit card
    1. Enter the new expiration date and click Update
  5. Select Change payment method and then Add new credit card if you need to enter a new credit card number
    1. Add the new credit card info and click the Add Card button
  6. Future payments will now use the new/updated credit card information

 

Note: This functionality is available for new ticket purchases with a payment/bill plan selected at the time of purchase. This is not available for season ticket renewals.

You can view all of your previously purchased events/tickets directly from your online account.

  1. Log in to your account
  2. Go to View Account & Settings and then My Tickets in the site navigation and tap on Order History
  3. By default, events purchased using your account will be listed in chronological order and grouped by season (2019 Football, 2018 Women’s Basketball, etc.)
  4. You can sort by:
    • Item Packages
    • Online Transfers
    • Renewals
    • Order Date
    • Event Date

Easily update your account information online!

  1. Log in to your account
  2. Go to View Account & Settings and then Account Settings
    • To update the email address associated with your account or the password used to log in, tap on Profile and then tap on Change Email Address. Enter the new email address and/or new password and Save
    • To update saved addresses, tap on Addresses and then the Edit button for the address you wish to update. Enter the new address information and Save
    • To update saved phone numbers, tap on Phone Numbers. Update the phone numbers you wish to change and Save
  1. Log in to your account
  2. Go to View Account & Settings and then My Giving
    • To make a new gift/donation, tap Make a New Gift. From the new donation page, you’ll be able to select a fund, enter the amount you wish to donate, and process the pledge or payment
    • To manage your outstanding pledges or renew your previous year’s pledge, tap Manage My Giving. From here, you’ll be able to make payments toward outstanding pledges. You’ll also be able to renew the previous year’s pledge(s) if available
    • To view your donation/giving history, tap History of Giving. From here, you’ll be able to view previous year’s pledges and donations
    • To view payment schedules that you have previously set up for outstanding pledges, tap Payment Schedules. From here, you can view all of your scheduled payments, make payments toward a pledge, and edit the credit card associated with the payment schedule

Frequently Asked Questions

Why mobile tickets?
Moving to mobile ticketing provides a safer and contactless entry for all fans and staff at our home events. The benefits of mobile tickets include:

  • Quick and easy entry to all venues using your mobile phone or smart device
  • Access to all pre-purchased season and single game tickets via the Nebraska Huskers App or huskers.com/myaccount
  • Reduce the risk of lost, stolen, counterfeit or forgotten tickets

When will my tickets be available on my account?
Tickets will be viewable in your account 2-3 weeks before the start of the sport season(s) in which you hold tickets. Once the tickets are available on accounts, the ticket holder of record will receive an email letting them know.

 How do I access my tickets?
If you do not already have it - download the Official Nebraska Huskers App here and select the ticket icon in the bottom right corner. Then log in with your ticket account information and you will find all active tickets for the season. Fans can also access their tickets via a mobile browser by going to huskers.com/myaccount. Fans will need to save their tickets from the app or browser to their Apple Wallet or Google Pay apps to receive event updates and scan their ticket(s) at the venue.

How will parking passes work?
Season parking passes will also be found on your mobile device and will work the same way as tickets. Passes will be found in your Husker App or your mobile browser. You can then add your passes to your Apple Wallet or Google Pay apps. 

What if I do not have cell or WiFi service at the venue?
There is Wi-Fi available in and around our venues but we suggest downloading tickets and parking to Apple Wallet or Google Pay apps prior to arriving at the venue to avoid Wi-Fi or cell service issues. Once tickets are successfully downloaded to Apple Wallet or Google Pay apps, Wi-Fi is not required to access tickets and/or parking. 

What if my guest(s) and I arrive to the venue at different times?
Each individual will need a ticket to enter the venue. Tickets can be transferred to each member of your party prior to your arrival. This will allow you and your party the convenience of entering at your own time. 

 Can I take a screenshot of my digital ticket(s) and text or email the screenshot to one of my guests so they can enter?
No. To reduce fraud and counterfeiting, screenshots of your mobile ticket or pictures of your barcode will not be valid for entry.

Can I have multiple tickets on the same mobile device?
Yes, every ticket tied to your account will be loaded into your mobile app. Tickets can be viewed by swiping left or right on your smartphone once you open the event. If your whole party is not arriving at the same time, we recommend transferring tickets to each member of your party for easiest access entering the venue.

What if I don’t have a smartphone, my battery dies or some other extenuating experience happens on game day?

  • If someone coming with you has a smartphone, before heading to the venue you can transfer the tickets to them via huskers.com/myaccount. One smartphone can be used to scan multiple tickets and provide both parties access to the game.
  • If you do not own a smartphone, please contact the Nebraska Athletic Ticket Office for further assistance Monday through Friday (8 a.m. – 5 p.m.) at (800) 8-BIG RED or nebraska@huskers.com.
  • On event days, please visit the main ticket office location at that venue for assistance.

Can digital tickets be downloaded onto a desktop computer and printed?
No. A mobile ticket barcode cannot be transferred to paper. Any barcodes transferred to paper will not be acceptable for entrance into our venues.

What are device and software requirements for entry?
In order to run the Official Nebraska Husker App fans with an iPhone will need to have iOS 10 (or higher), while android users will need to have version 5.0 (or higher).

How can I transfer tickets and/or parking to another person?
Tickets and parking can be transferred via the Husker App or by visiting huskers.com/myaccount from your mobile device. Simply log into your account and select the ticket(s) or parking pass you wish to transfer and follow the instructions to send a text invitation to a friend or family member to accept the ticket(s).

Is there a cost to transfer my tickets or parking?
There is no fee to transfer single game tickets or parking from your online account. However, the sender and recipient must work out payment on their own if necessary. 

Can I transfer my tickets more than one time?
A ticket or parking pass can be transferred more than once. Once it is transferred it will be in the new user’s account and they will have the ability to transfer it if needed. A ticket or parking transfer can be canceled prior to it being completed and accepted by the recipient.

If I transfer my tickets or parking pass, can the person receiving them just show the confirmation text/email for entrance?
No. The confirmation text message the new ticket holder receives does NOT act as their ticket(s) or parking pass. They will need to click on the link in the text message they receive and then login into their ticket account, or if they do not have an account they will need to create one. Once they have an account they must login to huskers.com/myaccount or their Official Nebraska Huskers App or show their mobile ticket or parking pass on their phone.

Can ticket holders transfer tickets after the event has started?
Yes, tickets can be transferred any time during the event.

My parking pass is now digital?
Season parking passes will all be accessed via the Official Nebraska Huskers App or by going to huskers.com/myaccount. Fans will scan their parking pass when entering the parking lot.

Can I transfer just my parking?
Yes, all tickets and parking passes are separate so fans are able to transfer each individual item.

Are there still cash-only lots for fans without season parking passes?
Yes, UNL parking services will still staff cash only lots on gamedays. To find those lots please check the Official Nebraska Huskers App or visit the gameday page here.

I have two parking spots, do I need to scan both passes?
Yes, if a fan has multiple parking stalls in a lot they will need to scan each parking pass.

Can I transfer my parking pass more than one time?
A ticket or parking pass can be transferred more than once. Once it is transferred it will be in the new user’s account and they will have the ability to transfer it if needed. A ticket or parking transfer can be canceled prior to it being completed and accepted by the recipient.
