Nebraska's amazing All-America traditions reaches across the field, with a Husker claiming All-America honors at nearly every position. Six Husker quarterbacks have earned All-America honors since 1971, including Heisman Trophy winner Eric Crouch (2001), while four Nebraska running backs have also captured the honor, including Heisman winner Mike Rozier (1983).

Husker wide receivers have joined the All-America parade, including wingback Irving Fryar (1983), who was the No. 1 overall pick in the 1984 NFL Draft, along with 1972 Heisman Trophy-winning wingback Johnny Rodgers. In addition to the fullbacks and tight ends who have won awards on the offensive side of the ball, 11 different Huskers have earned first-team All-America honors at the center position. The offensive guard position may be even more dominant, with nine Huskers claiming All-America accolades since 1980.

At offensive and defensive tackle, Nebraska has produced an astonishing 26 combined All-Americans on both sides of the ball, while 10 Husker defensive backs have earned All-America honors since 1966.
