On the environment in the locker room after the game
“It felt great. It felt amazing. It’s been awhile since we’ve gone on to a bowl game. I’m really happy for the seniors and the guys that have been here for a long time through the ups and downs. It was exciting in the locker room, that was a great feeling.” 

On the difference in Holgorsen’s message
“I love that he said that. I kind of take it as just a challenge. I have been making people miss my whole life, so just going out there and trusting my training and most importantly helping this team win a football game and keep progressing.”

“It’s special. It’s my third year here and there’s guys that have been here for longer than me. So, it’s special to get over that. We’re changing Nebraska football. “It meant a lot. We were in the same position last year and it was at Wisconsin and I remember that feeling going up 14-0 not finishing that game well. Finish has been an emphasis in the off season, and that's what we did tonight is finish the ball game, and moving forward that’s what we’re going to continue to do, finish football games.”
