Concessions Employment Opportunities

  • Memorial Stadium is the only venue we use hawkers.
  • The minimum age to be a hawker is 12.
  • Hawkers are treated as a self-employed contractor.
  • Hawkers are paid a commission on the product they sell.
  • Applicants must complete an application and W9. If applicant is under 18 a parent/guardian must sign both the application and the W9 form. 

The Hawker position is now FULL for the 2023 football season. 

  • Rate of pay: $12.75/hr.
  • Must be 16 years of age
  • Receive an All Sports Pass to use at all Husker Athletic events except (Football, Men’s Basketball, and Volleyball – some other rules exist)
  • Hours vary depending upon event
  • May work in a concession stand at any of the following venues: Memorial Stadium, Bob Devaney Sports Center or Hibner Soccer Stadium.
  • Applicants must complete a background check. 

What:                   Football Season 2023

When:                  September thru November - (7 Saturdays)

Payment:            $90 per person

Overview:

  • We are recruiting non-profit organizations that are looking to fundraise while contributing to the fan experience and exciting atmosphere at Memorial Stadium.
  • Our non-profit program has supported churches, youth sports clubs, booster clubs, school organizations, and civic groups. It is an alternative to traditional fundraising like car washes.
  • We believe the success of our program can make a difference in reaching your fundraising goals.
  • Depending on the size of the stand you work in, you could be required to bring between 4 and 10 volunteers.
  • Volunteers that work at an event report 2.5 hours prior to kickoff. The average is a 6.5-hour commitment per football game.
