Zionn Pearson

Zionn Pearson is in her first season as Nebraska's on-campus recruiting assistant. In her role, she assists with the planning and organization of all of the Huskers' on-campus recruiting efforts.

Pearson previously served as a recruiting assistant for the Husker football program as an undergraduate student. In addition to her work with the football program, Pearson was also a standout jumper for the Nebraska track and field team.

She placed third in the long jump at the 2019 Big Ten Indoor Championships and had top-12 finishes in both the long jump and triple jump at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships. The next season, Pearson was sixth in the long jump and ninth in the triple jump at the conference indoor championships. In 2021, she was ninth in the triple jump and 11th in the long jump at the Big Ten Indoor Championships before finishing fourth in the long jump at the conference outdoor championships. In her final season, Pearson finished ninth at the Big Ten Indoor Championships and was 10th in the triple jump and 11th in the long jump at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships.

Originally from St. Louis, Mo., Pearson earned her degree in nutrition and health sciences from Nebraska in 2022.
