Trey Sherer is in his first season as Nebraska's director of football creative strategy. In his role, Sherer not only creates content but plays a key role in the strategy, planning, organization and execution of Nebraska's creative messaging and branding.
Before coming to Nebraska, Sherer was the director of graphic design for Air Force Athletics. Previously, Sherer was a creative solutions graduate assistant at Clemson for nearly two years as he completed his master's degree in human resources development. Sherer also worked as a creative media intern for Vanderbilt in the fall of 2019, and he was a control room operator for the Birmingham Barons minor league baseball team in 2018.
Sherer earned his bachelor's degree in sports and recreation management from North Alabama in 2019. In his final year as a student, he worked in the Lions' sports information office.
