Sara Haag

Sara Haag (formerly Sackett) joined the Nebraska Academic staff as an assistant academic counselor in fall of 2011.

Haag was a four-year letterwinner and a three-time first-team academic All-Big 12 selection for the Nebraska women's golf team. She helped the Huskers qualify for the 2006 NCAA Championships.  

Haag earned her bachelor's degree as an elementary education major from Nebraska in 2006.

Before returning to NU, Haag served as a fitting specialist for Ping golf clubs from 2007 to 2009.  She also traveled extensively marketing Ping products at various events. In July 2011, she married Daniel Haag and graduated with a master's of arts degree in educational administration with an emphasis in student affairs from the University of Nebraska.
