Sam Bransby

Sam Bransby was a volunteer coach for the Nebraska track and field team during the 2020-21 season and then joined the program as a recruiting assistant in July of 2021.

Bransby assists in recruiting prospective student-athletes for the track and field program. He also assists with official and unofficial visits on campus for prospective student-athletes.

Bransby was a three-time All-American as a member of the track and field team, including first-team honors on NU's 4x400-meter relay team in 2016. He was also a three-team Academic All-Big Ten selection and three-team Big Ten Distinguished Scholar.

Sam graduated from UNL in 2018 with a degree in elementary education and a minor in Spanish.
