Robert Mersed

Robert Mersed joined the Nebraska Athletic Department facilities staff as a guest relations/security attendant in 2007.

In his role, Mersed serves as one of the first in-person contacts for daily visitors to the athletic department, while also providing a safe environment for Nebraska's student-athletes and staff members.

Before joining the athletic department, Mersed was employed by the Lincoln Public Schools as a campus supervisor at Lincoln High and Lincoln North Star, where he served as a team leader. He also served as a community service associate for Region V Services.

Mersed was also an assistant coach for the Lincoln High boys' basketball team that won the Class A state title in 2003.
