Mike Cunningham is in his first season as a Nebraska football staff assistant. Cunningham assists the Husker offensive coaches in a variety of duties, and he has collegiate coaching experience as an offensive assistant.
Cunningham came to Nebraska after serving as the offensive line coach at North Dakota in 2013. He worked with the Minnesota State-Mankato football program from 2006 to 2012, after previously serving on the football staff at Concordia St. Paul in 2004 and 2005.
Cunningham earned his bachelor’s degree in family sciences from New Mexico State in 2001. He and his wife Andrea have three children, Trevin (10), Alyssa (7) and Alex (3).
