Megan McLaughlin joined the athletic department as design coordinator in 2004 after having worked in design and advertising with several major firms in <?xml:namespace prefix="ns0" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags"?><?xml:namespace prefix="st1" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags"?>Houston the previous 10 years. <?xml:namespace prefix="o" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office"?>
McLaughlin oversees print designs for the entire athletic department including the conceptualization and execution of media guide covers, posters and other public works. She also works closely with the media relations and marketing departments to provide promotional material to publicize Nebraska’s 23 varsity sports.
During her two full years in the department, Nebraska's media and recruiting guides and posters have earned nearly 40 CoSIDA national publication awards, including several "Best in the Nation" honors.
McLaughlin earned a bachelor’s degree in art history from the University of Houston in 1999.
