Dr. Bullock worked at UNL as an Athletic Psychologist from August of 2020 to June of 2023. She worked with all UNL student-athletes, but most closely with football, soccer, softball, and rifle teams and staff. She worked with the individual student-athletes as well as the system of people that surrounds them to provide the healthiest and most optimal environment for them to thrive as both people and elite performers.
Prior to joining UNL, Dr. Bullock completed her PhD in Clinical Psychology at Brigham Young University and her doctoral internship at Lehigh University in 2020. While there, she provided mental health counseling and sport performance enhancement for student-athletes and general population students in their college counseling centers. She also received specialty training in an outpatient eating disorder clinic. Dr. Bullock's dissertation research examined the differences in mental health prevalence and psychotherapy treatment outcomes between collegiate student-athletes and general population students. She received her master's degree in Psychology from Brigham Young University in 2017.
Dr. Bullock received her bachelor's degree in Psychology from Stanford University in 2013. While there, Dr. Bullock was a member of the women's soccer team, where they made 4 Final Four appearances and won 1 NCAA national championship. Between undergrad and graduate school, Dr. Bullock played three seasons of professional soccer in the National Women's Soccer League.
Dr. Bullock is originally from Orange County, California. She enjoys being active, playing sports, adventuring in the outdoors, traveling, reading, and going to concerts. She currently lives in Lincoln with her husband and dog.
