Marcell Lazard is in his second season working with the Nebraska defense as a graduate assistant. Lazard previously worked with the defensive tackles as an assistant coach at Pace University in New York from 2018 to 2020.
As a player, Lazard was an offensive lineman at West Virginia (2013-16) and Boston College (2017). He played in 26 games with 12 starts at West Virginia before playing in nine games with a pair of starts at Boston College. Lazard earned his bachelor's degree from West Virginia in 2017 and his master's degree in sport and fitness administration management from Boston College.
