Lindsay Erwin enters her second year with the Nebraska Athletic Department as a Life Skills assistant. Her primary responsibilities are working with the student-athletes in the sports of swimming and diving, wrestling, men's and women's golf, rifle, football, and track and field to assist them in their preparations for life after sports. Erwin assists in the planning of major events such as the Life Skills Seminar, the Life Skills Competition, Career Fair, Networking Night, the Husker ConNect program, School is Cool Week and American Education assemblies.
Erwin earned her bachelor's degree in sports leadership with a minor in management from Chadron State College, where she was a four-year letterwinner in women's basketball. She earned her master's degree in sports management from Wayne State College, where she also served as a graduate assistant coach for the Wildcat women's basketball team.
Lindsay is the daughter of Steve and Janice Erwin, who are both University of Nebraska alumni. Steve was a member of the men's basketball team at Nebraska, and Janice was a member of the cheer squad.
