Karen Cook joined the athletic department in 1996 and currently serves as a secretary to the strength coaches. She is responsible for day-to-day operations of the strength complex, including entering testing data for sports, tracking records and ordering new equipment.
She answers incoming athletic phone calls and coordinates all of Nebraska's Athletic Department tours through Memorial Stadium, the Tom and Nancy Osborne Complex and the Bob Devaney Sports Center.
Cook and her husband, Mike, have four children, Nicole, Nathan, Deanna and Laura Jo, and two grandsons, Jaiven and Mason.
