Josiah Kamler worked as an assistant sports turf manager at Nebraska from May 2023-January 2024.
In his role, Kamler was responsible for the management and upkeep of the grass and synthetic turf playing surfaces for the Husker football, soccer and track and field programs. His work was vital in ensuring safe practice and playing conditions for Nebraska student-athletes.
Kamler earned his degree from Nebraska in May of 2023 with a major in turfgrass and landscape management with a minor in agribusiness entrepreneurship. While a student at Nebraska, Kamler was a bull rider on the UNL rodeo team. He also served as the club president, where he helped lead and produce a sanctioned collegiate rodeo through the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association (NIRA) in the Great Plains region. He is a member of the Extreme Bull Riding Tour and is taking the next steps to become a professional bull rider.
