John Duncan joined the Nebraska staff before the 2005 campaign and serves as the video coordinator for football. Duncan oversees a staff of full-time and student assistants while providing all video needs to the football coaching staff. He also oversees film exchange with opponents and breaks down practice and game footage.
Duncan came to the Huskers from the University of Oregon where he worked five years in the Ducks' video department as an assistant video coordinator. Duncan was in charge of video needs for men's and women's basketball, softball, soccer, lacrosse and volleyball, while also assisting with football.
Duncan received a bachelor's degree from Arizona State, where he also worked as a student assistant in the video department for three years. A native of Tacoma, Wash., Duncan has a wife, Cyndi, and a stepson, Ryan.
