Joe Lang joined the Nebraska Athletic Department in June of 2019 as a development assistant. Lang focuses on prospect management, data analysis and donor stewardship for the National Leadership Society and Huskers Athletic Fund.
Lang spent a year at Washington State University where he lettered as a football student-athlete in 2014. Starting in 2015 Lang transferred to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas to continue his football career and education. He was a two-time Mountain West all-academic team member and two-time letterwinner for the Rebels.
Lang is a native of Pullman, Wash., and graduated in 2018 with bachelor of science degree in business administration - finance. He is on track to earn his Masters of Arts in Business with a specialization in Intercollegiate Athletics Administration (MAIAA) from Nebraska’s College of Business in May of 2020.
