Jeff Weber joined the Nebraska Athletic Medicine Staff as a graduate assistant in 2009. Weber, who earned his undergraduate degree in athletic training from Nebraska, worked with the NU wrestling team in 2009-10 and 2010-11.
Originally from Lodgepole, Neb., Weber attended Chadron State College for three years before transferring to Nebraska to complete his undergraduate degree. He served as a student athletic trainer throughout his undergraduate career at both Chadron State and Nebraska, working primarily with football and women's basketball at Chadron and the football, tennis, track, soccer and cheerleading squads at Nebraska.
Weber also spent two summers working with the grounds crew for Nebraska baseball and the Lincoln Saltdogs, and volunteered with community organizations for the UNL Dance Marathon and Omaha Buddy Walk.
