Doug Lillie has worked at NU since 1992 and is currently the <?xml:namespace prefix="st1" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags"?>BobDevaneySportsCenter building superintendent. Lillie is responsible for building maintenance and oversees the custodial and security staff. <?xml:namespace prefix="o" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office"?>
A native of Wahoo, Neb., Lillie assists 15 full-time employees with setup and operation of events at the Devaney Center, including sporting events for men’s and women’s basketball, wrestling, men’s and women’s indoor track and men’s and women’s gymnastics. Along with NU sporting events, Lillie and his staff assist with all other special events in the building, such as concerts, graduations, the state fair and state high school championships.
Before joining the DevaneyCenter staff, Lillie spent 21 years working in hospital plant services in Lincoln. He earned his AAS degree in air conditioning technology and is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in industrial management at Nebraska.
Lillie and his wife, Julie, have three children, Tiffany, Alicia and Kenzie.
