David DeSimone joined Nebraska Athletics as a development operations assistant in July of 2018. DeSimone will focus on prospect management, data analysis, and donor stewardship for the National Leadership Society and the Huskers Athletic Fund.
DeSimone came to Nebraska from Kalamazoo College, where he was a student-athlete on the tennis team. A four-year ITA scholar-athlete, DeSimone was awarded the tennis team MVP for the 2013 and 2015 seasons and the 2015 Male Student-Athlete of the Year.
DeSimone is a native of Bettendorf, Iowa, and graduated in 2015 with a degree in German. He will earn his Master of Arts in Business with a specialization in Intercollegiate Athletics Administration (MAIAA) from Nebraska’s College of Business in May of 2019.
