Casey Fonnesbeck joined the Huskers as a volunteer coach. Fonnesbeck will assist with throws.
A native of Franklin, Idaho, Fonnesbeck was a member of The University of Illinois Fighting Illini Men's Track & Field program from 2006-2010. He was also a member of the Arizona State University Sun Devils Track and Field team from 2010-2011.
Fonnesbeck was a part of the Academic Staff at The University of Illinois in 2013. He served as one of two Learning Specialist for the Football program. He worked as the men and women’s throws coach for Idaho State University from 2016-2017. He holds a Bachelor's degree from The University of Illinois in Sports Management and a Master's degree in Higher and Post-Secondary Education from The Arizona State University.
