Within three years of PEO's launch, Stone helped award 140+ participants more than $1,000,000 in scholarship aid for experiences in six continents, 14 countries and 18 states. The program won the 2017 NACE (National Association of Colleges & Employers) Chevron Award, recognizing PEO as the most innovative career services program in the nation.
Prior to joining the athletic department, Stone served as the Assistant Director for Student & Alumni Engagement for the Nebraska Alumni Association where she managed career-development programs and advised the 1,400+ member student alumni association.
A native of Palmer, Neb., Stone earned her bachelor’s degree in integrated marketing communications with a minor in sport management from Wichita State University and her master’s degree in educational administration with an emphasis in student affairs from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
