Amanda Hall joins the Nebraska Athletic department as an Assistant Academic Counselor. Amanda comes to Nebraska from the University at Albany, where she served as an Assistant Academic Counselor in the Office of Student-Athlete Support Services. She earned her bachelor's degree in business administration from UAlbany in May of 2008, where she also competed as a member of the Varsity Tennis team, earning All-Academic Team honors in 2005-2008, and MVP in 2005. She went on to earn her master's degree in higher education administration, also from Albany, in May 2010, and also holds her graduate certificate in Sports Counseling from California University of Pennsylvania, completing that schooling in August of 2009. She spent the summer in 2007 abroad in London, assisting with the South of England Athletic Association, and currently serves with several community organizations. Amanda's parents, Brad and Sylvia, live in Williamsport, Penn., where she was raised. Her older brother, Brandon, lives Los Angeles, Calif.
