2013 Sand Season
Alexa Strange and partner Kelsey Robinson posted an 8-4 record in Nebraska's inaugural sand season.
2012: Freshman
Played in 25 matches as a freshman • Came on strong for NU against Indiana, totaling seven kills on nine swings (.778) • Four of her kills came in the fifth set against the Hoosiers, as she helped the Huskers to the win • Total 25 kills on the year and a hitting percentage of .309 • Posted 55 digs and 15 assists.
High School
Strange joins the Huskers from San Clemente High School in San Clemente, Calif. • Named a 2011 Under Armour Second-Team All-America selection • Honored as a Fab 50 selection by Volleyball Magazine and ranked No. 46 on Prepvolleyball.com's list of Senior Aces • Honored as a 2011 special mention All-American by Volleyball Magazine • Led the San Clemente Tritons to a 20-9 record and a No. 22 ranking in the state of California in 2011 • Recorded 321 kills in her senior seasons with an additional 307 assists • Named to Prepvolleyball.com's Top-50 Junior list • Regarded as one of the top young sand volleyball players in the country, as she and teammate Mikayla Tucker competed at the 2011 FIVB Beach Volleyball Swatch Youth (U-19) World Championships in Croatia in June 2011 • Played club volleyball with Coast Volleyball.
