Sophomore (2001-02)
Justin Borzych (pronounced BOAR-zick) finished the fall season with a stroke average of 76.08 over 12 rounds. He totaled a score of 230 for 35th place in the Fairway Club Invitational for his best tournament of the season.
Freshman (2000-01)
Borzych competed for the Huskers in the Fairway Club Invitational in the fall season and totaled a three-round score of 238, including a 77 in the second round. Borzych competed in two tournaments in the 2000-01 season.
Before Nebraska
Justin played under Coach Bob Beaty for Chatfield High School where he lettered four times in golf and two in baseball. He was a two-time M.V.P. as well as a league medalist. He was named first-team all-conference for four years, all-state for two years, 1996 Player of the Year and represented Colorado on the Junior America's Cup team in 1996.

Justin is the son of Charles and Susan Borzych and has one sister Jacinda (19)...is a senior finance major...chose to come to Nebraska because of family and he says he has always been a fan of the Huskers...grandparents Leslie and Loraine Jenkins played for Nebraska...chose Nebraska over California State because of the athletic program...favorite golf course is the Mauna Kea in Hawaii...favorite golfer is Fred Couples...favorite professional tournament is the Masters.
